About Viewfinder
Looking closer is a thing we photographers all do. Maybe it's because we hope to see something the average "eye in a hurry" will miss. Or maybe we want to bring it forward, as a prized image which others (and we ourselves) will long enjoy. Whichever it may be, we are motivated to take pictures. And to show them. And to see them. That's why we're all here. For me, it's a privilege and a thrill to be a part of this wonderful, talented, international Am3 community. Self-taught, my photos come in all kinds. Some are terrible, some might have potential, a few might accidentally be kind of ok; a rare one might actually be almost good. Whatever, I have fun and find digital photography and post processing to be a way to express my creative side. And sometimes my pictures may tell stories, or invite stories to be told. That's when I am happiest because I believe it is only the good pictures that can do that. My favorite subjects are New Orleans, Florida, California (esp. San Francisco area), urban/streetscapes (anywhere), pets, nature, land/sky/seascapes, people (unposed), and any place we may travel. My goal is to find the beauty, the interest, the creativity which God has richly provided in making this world and all that is in it. So then, now you know something more about me. Maybe it's time for all of us to go out and take that next great picture. Soli deo gloria!
